My name is Ashleigh Dearman and I'm a hobbyist photographer from Manitoba, Canada.
I started taking pictures early in my teens of different things and have slowly progressed from taking regular everyday photos to more professional photos.
I've barely scratched the surface of photography knowledge as I'm a self taught hobbyist photographer. This has allowed me to show some really creative sides of who I am. I love learning and I'm constantly reading up on different styles and techniques as well as following several blogs(which I love doing because you get to see how people break rules and form their own styles based on experiences they've experienced!) Reading other photographers blogs and websites allows for honest appreciation and sometimes jealousy of what someone else might capture and makes you constantly strive to be better and better each day!
If you've looked at my work, you'll notice that I have hardly any work done with people. I tell people that my passion is mostly around looking for subjects to take pictures of that are either candid, animal, still or objects. Hence why I call myself, Objects of my Affection by Ashleigh!
I welcome you to explore all my pages, read my 365 day project (that has details of my daily life.) Add me to facebook as Objects of my Affection or search for me personally!
I look forward to hearing from anyone who is interested in my art and what I do or would like to share their own art!!! I love seeing other peoples work! As well if you have any words of advice or would like to know how I do what I do! Please contact me! I'd LOVE to hear from you!
YES! I do sell prints! I do not have set prices right now as I'm more accomodating to the size of picture and if you would like it with or without frame. If you're interested in a print, please let me know and we can discuss this! Also, if you're interested in having something or someone in particular photographed, please contact me!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and encouraged me to be expressive through photography and allowing me to take their picture along the way! Without you guys, I don't know where I would be!
Also thank you for being so patient while I learn more and more about this great hobby I have! I'm so excited to keep going!
~Ashleigh
